Background: As a young boy, he had always been alone. He would try to make friends as a kid but he would always scare them away. From the people that wasn't scared of him, they would taunt him for the way he looked. So as a boy, he had called himself ugly and believes that he would forever be ugly. Kids would make fun of him every chance they could get. He would always hide in a corner and cry about it. He would often be push around by others and would do anything for them to be accepted.  Others would often use him to get what they wanted and he would often fall for the same mistakes over and over. He would change his personality ( try to change it) to make others impress of him. He wanted to feel accepted and didn't know that someone did care for him. His mother would try to help him out but he would always tell her that nothing's wrong with him.

As he grew older, his mother got concerned with him and moved him out of public schools and he was home-schooled. Because of this, he started to learn how to observe others and not to make the same mistakes that he did in the past. He started to become very observant with everything around him. Paranoia started to hit him hard during that time and he started to carefully plan that everything that he does. He always try to keep a serious face so others don't worry about him and shows that he is a stronger person. He had started to hide every emotion that he had. When he was out of home school, he wanted to become a game creator and to show at least that he has some talent. In order to do that though, he must move to Tokyo to start off his career.

In order to pay for his rent at his home, he works as a waiter in a anime restaurant. He often tries to be friendly with the customers but often scare them away. He is seen most of the time, picking up trash and cleaning the dishes. He is struggling to pay for his bills for his home and because of this, he started to eat very little. He forces himself to not waste energy in his home and uses as little as he can. When people come to his home (which is rarely) he cleans up as much as he can to make the place to look nice. Most of the time though, it is somewhat messy. Since he is almost always out of the house, he rarely has any time to relax and to calm himself down.

Personality: Most of the time, he is known to be an emotionless person. He often is seen frowning because nothing really interests him and has always had a bored/uninterested expression on his face. It rare for him to give any emotion at all because he never learned how to express the emotions well enough for most people to understand. When he is shown to give emotion, it's often because he is either really nervous about something or he is deeply annoyed of the person (though he does nothing about it) When talking with others, he does try to give emotion but often gives the wrong one (without himself meaning too) The only emotions he had learned to use is fear and paranoia. He wants to change himself into a new person but doesn't know how to. He had tried for a long time to find someone to understand him but he hadn't found anyone so far. As time goes on, he is slowly losing hope that they will be anyone that could understand him. Because of this, he is losing himself.

Deep inside, he is mentally unstable and doesn't know how to handle any problems. He rely on taking hot showers that calms him down from going crazy. He knows a lot about the world and often talks to himself. He often tries not to go into drugs or drinking or anything that would make himself worse than what he already is. He often shakes a lot when he is nervous and often have panic attacks. The thing is when he has a panic attack, he would do anything to hide it from others. He hates when he has this because he feels like he is losing the battle to life and wants to stay stronger. He believes the world is unfair because there is no true person that would get there way. Why some people have a good life while others struggle? He wants to find the answer and will do anything to get the answer.

He wants to be known for his work and doesn't like when people try to mess it up. In the school he goes to, he often gets stares by many other. It’s unknown why his work is normally getting destroyed by the other classmates. He often makes good ideas for his projects and often gets praised from it from his teacher. He likes that his ideas are good but doesn't like getting attention from the other students. He tries his best on the work he does and always give his effort in doing so (most people think he does it without trying) The only problem he really has with his games is the characters. He often gets critic that his characters are too bland and have no real personality. He really tries hard to create characters personality but doesn't know how to because of the lack of personality he has.

He is always seen working on something (no matter what it is) and rarely has any time to make himself relax. Because of the work, he is always stressing out for when it’s going to get done and how well it should be. He only takes hot showers to calm himself. Once he is done with that, he goes back working. He tries to relax himself but can’t seem to do it. Most people don’t even see how much he works and gives credit to someone else. He is a hard worker and is determined to be like that. But depression is eating him alive and slowly is losing it. He is struggling to keep himself happy but he believes he needs someone to help him out. But because of his paranoia, he doesn’t know who to trust. He often contradicts himself of wanting help and not wanting help.He is know to be a hypocrite on his own words and advice. He tries not to be but fails to notice when he is doing so. He had tried to kill himself in the past but always hesitates on doing so.

Appearance: He is a medium size man who looks skinny but is actually a bit chubby. He is very unhealthy. He has a big bushy uni-brow and has a lot of acne on his face. But most of the time, it looks clean because he puts on medicine that calms the acne down. He is a hunchback and is often seen carrying a huge backpack that is almost big as him. He has short black hair and has a widow peak. His skin is somewhat pale but not as pale as a ghost. His nails are dirty most of the time and are often chewed up. He wears dirty sneakers with oversized tan pants. He tries to make himself at least decent to look at so that more people would at least try to talk to him. He often is seen with a serious expression and a dark aura that scares others away. He has a strong face structure (especially in the jaws) that make him look more scary.

Opinions About The Characters:

Satou Tatsuhiro
He is very curious to know about Satou. He feels like he could relate to him from the paranoia in the world. He wants to get to know him but is very scared to do so. He had tried to talk to him but either ending the conversation to quick or making things awkward very easily. He meets him every once in a while and tries to give advice to him. He finally get the guts to talk to him when Karou introduces him to Satou. When they do both meet each other, Kowagatte does admire Satou and would do anything to protect him. He reminds him as a child that needs a father to protect him. He often tries to give ideas to Satou to work with when he does visits.

Kaoru Yamazaki
They had talked with each other before and had a few good conversations with each other. Though Kaoru sees him as a threatening guy, Kowagatte tries to offer him some advice (though Kaoru rejects them most of the time) Kowagatte lives near the building that Kaoru and Satou live at. He visits every once in a while when he needs help with something. They had met during the gaming school where they are both at the moment. They see each other from time to time but Kowagatte is too busy to talk to Kaoru most of the time. He tries to talk but something always come up that makes him lack time to socialize with others.

Misaki Nakahara
He had seen her many times in the past. He wonders about her but never had a chance to get to know her. Though from the time that he had seen her, he considers her as “too suspicious” for him to meet. He feels that she could crack someone easily by her looks and her personality that he had seen. He worries about her ever meeting him and tries to avoid her when making eye contact with her.

Hitomi Kashiwa
He doesn't know her at all and had never met contact with her.
